ACSA National Conference 2008: call for papers


2008 nation Conference LogoAged and Community Services Australia has issued a call for papers for its upcoming National Conference.

The conference will be held form 28 September to 1 October 2008 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Its theme is “Aged Care in the Fast Lane”.

Successful submissions must meet the selection criteria. These include:

- relevance to the conference theme
- national relevance and applicability
- innovation or freshness of approach
- the content must be linked to one of the concurrent session – Working in the Fast Lane (Workforce); More Cost More Competition (Economics); and Living in the Fast Lane (Environment)
- papers must be based on original research and experiences
- the speaker’s in addressing conferences or seminars

All submissions should be made up of the following elements:

- a single A4-page summary/abstract of the main points to be covered
- a 75-word description of how this presentation links in with the conference theme
- full contact details of the speaker (including name, organisation, position, phone, fax, address and email)
- a brief summary or listing of previous presentations or talks
- a 75-word biography of the speaker
- all this information must be submitted electronically in MS Word Format (97 Version or later) to acsa@aomevents.com

Submissions must be entered by 1 February.
