Smart Dialler

Smart-Caller’s Healthcare Solutions’ new ‘Smart-Dialler’ (pictured) incorporates emergency-call and general telephone functions in the one device.

Designed to operate in conjunction with the client’s normal telephone handset, it can be placed under the home phone, on top of a desk or wall mounted.

Up to eight different phone destinations can be programmed into the ‘Smart-Dialler’ and it has functions for loud-speaker conversations and recording voice messages.

It meets all Australian Standards for use with professional Monitoring Centers, including public facilities and those used within retirement villages.

It is also approved to communicate with Telstra’s ‘000’ emergency service.

The device detects if a carer does not respond to an alarm within an allotted time and automatically calls a back-up number, such as ‘000’.

The ‘Smart-Dialler’ is able to ‘talk’ to residents when an alert is made or a handset is left off the hook. It can play six different reminder messages for medication and pendant testing and it also has a ‘talking clock’ for people with sight impairment.

It can communicate in a number of languages and features a home security system.
