Bright future for clinical needs

The NSW Minister for Ageing and Disability Services, Kristina Keneally has officially launched ParaQuad NSW’s new commercial enterprise, BrightSky Australia.

It was formerly known as ParaQuad NSW healthcare products.

BrightSky Australia provides door-to-door delivery of specialist healthcare items for continence, wound care and nutrition which are not commonly available in pharmacies and supermarkets.

Originally conceived as a service for people with spinal chord injuries, the business has grown and now supports a much wider community, including older people and patients recently discharged from hospital.

The new BrighSky logo (pictured above) features a kite, to symbolise freedom and the path to better health and a brighter life.

“I am really pleased that ParaQuad is occupying this space,” said Ms Keneally.

BrightSky Australia has a new webstore, a walk-in store in the Sydney suburb of Newington and an Australian-based call centre.

It offers free continence and wound care advice, providing a valuable community service to the frail, aged and people with disabilities.
