The Dementia Collaborative Research Centres (DCRCs) are calling on all experienced and budding dementia researchers to take part in the poster display at their national research forum later this year.

The theme of this year’s forum is ‘Translating Research into Practice’ with an emphasis on how lessons from academia can be translated into practice at the ‘clinical coalface’.

The forum will be showcasing the latest research in diagnosis, management and treatment.

There will also be updates on drug treatments for dementia and preventive measures.

The forum will be held at the Wesley Conference Centre in Sydney on 24-25 September.

Proposed poster abstracts must be received by 5pm (EST) on Friday, 5 June 2009 and should be sent to dementiacrc@unsw.edu.au
