The Aged Care Channel will broadcast a program on the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) later this month.

The ‘ACFI in Practice’ segment will feature ACFI Industry Reference Group member and Aged and Community Services NSW & ACT CEO, Jill Pretty, along with a group of aged care providers who will speak about their experiences with the tool.

The program will also feature an introduction from the Minister for Ageing, Justine Elliot who will outline the changes to the funding system.

“We are very pleased with this program as it enables staff across Australia to share their experiences and gain some insight into ensuring the most effective use of the new tool,” said the Aged Care Channel’s chief operations officer, Lorraine Poulos.

The ACFI program is designed for staff members who have already received ACFI training.

There will be a live phone-in segment following the broadcast.
