The Grand Pavilion, Rosehill, Sydney

Ausclean Pulire, Australia’s only dedicated cleaning and hygiene event offers more than 60 exhibitors, 30 hours of education and many new products & services.

Ausclean PULIRE is Australia’s only dedicated cleaning and hygiene event, and this year has an entire learning stream dedicated to healthcare and hygiene, which is not to be missed for those in the aged care industry.

Topics to be covered in detail in the Healthcare & Hygiene stream include sustainable infection control cleaning, hand hygiene V environmental cleaning, how to improve cleaning service outcomes, cleaning without chemicals in clinical areas, and optimising your organisation’s cleaning program and what trends to implement now.

There will also be a session on the risk of bed bugs in aged care from Stephen Doggett, a senior hospital scientist and director of the department of Medical Entomology at Westmead Hospital in Sydney. Bed bugs are serious and control is difficult and expensive. Stephen will share the key learning’s from ‘A Code of Practice for the Control of Bed Bugs in Australia’, the industry standard for the control of bed bugs, leaving participants with a practical guide to approach this concerning issue.

At Ausclean PULIRE, you can discuss new concepts with others working within the aged care industry, as well as take back practical knowledge to implement within your own organisation.
