Patrick Reid becomes chief at IRT
The IRT Group has announced the appointment of Patrick Reid as CEO.
Mr Reid, the former chief of industry peak Leading Age Services Australia, has been interim CEO since October last year following the departure of long-serving chief Nieves Murray.
He has been a non-executive director of IRT Group since February 2017.
Mr Reid was most recently director of aged care, community and disability with StewartBrown Accountants.
He has held a number of advisory roles with the ACT and Federal Government, including as former chairman of the government’s Aged Care Workforce Advisory Group.
Mr Reid has also held senior board roles with the Pharmacy Guild and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
IRT Group chair Michael Halloran said the board was pleased to welcome Mr Reid as the organisation’s new CEO. “He is a respected leader in our sector and has very strong relationships with industry and government stakeholders,” he said.
Senior appointments at software provider
Health Metrics has appointed economist and entrepreneur Nicholas Gruen as its new chairman.
Mr Gruen is a policy economist, businessman and entrepreneur as well as commentator on the economy, society and innovation.
He is CEO of Lateral Economics, Visiting Professor at Kings College London Policy Institute and Adjunct Professor at UTS Business School.
Health Metrics, which is a provider of software to aged care, also recently appointed Kellee Ireland as sales director ANZ.
Ms Ireland, a former operations and training coordinator for The Eden Alternative, will be responsible for the development of key growth sales strategies and management of key accounts across Australia and New Zealand.
