McStay, Walsh and team join Thomson Geer
Aged care and retirement living specialists Julie McStay and Madeline Walsh have joined Thomson Geer in Brisbane, Queensland as partners of the law firm.
Joining Ms McStay and Ms Walsh in the move from Hynes Legal is their team of specialists including six senior lawyers and clinical consultants.
The team will work closely with Thomson Geer’s Sydney-based partners and fellow aged care and specialists Lucinda Smith and Arthur Koumoukelis as well as Perth-based special counsel Amber Crosthwaite.
Thomson Geer chief executive partner Adrian Tembel said the new team’s skills complemented the firms existing strengths in aged care and retirement living.
“We welcome Julie, Madeline and their team to Thomson Geer Brisbane,” Mr Tembel said.
“Our continued expansion in this growth sector has largely been driven by client demand and we have truly national coverage,” he said.
