Attention all RNs

Applications for the 2008 DoHA Clinical Nursing Fellowships are now open to all RNs (Div. 1) in residential aged care.

Registered Nurses (Div. 1) working in residential aged care can now apply for a Department of Health and Ageing Clinical Fellowship.

The Clinical Fellowship Program aims to increase awareness of the role of clinical leadership and to build its capacity within the existing workforce.

The fellowships provide funding for a ‘work-site’ program made up of two five-day intensive training residencies at the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) in Adelaide and the completion of a ‘best practice’ project over six months at the applicants place of work.

Applicants must demonstrate that they will be able to secure paid work release during the intensive training periods and the ‘work-site’ project period.

Applications must be submitted by 16 May and previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.
