Free poster supports safety in aged care

A new guide has been launched to support safe work practices in aged care.

Pro-Visual Publishing has released an updated interactive educational poster that promotes safety in residential aged care.

The topics covered in the National Guide for Aged Care 2021/22 include compliance, falls prevention, nutrition and managing COVID-19.

It also includes a focus on communicating and supporting residents with dementia and palliative care via the evidence-based End of Life Directions for Aged Care (ELDAC) resource.

Users can access the interactive augmented reality features on the poster using the free Pro-Vis AR app to view and download additional information and resources to their smart device.

The poster has been developed by health, safety and wellbeing guide publisher Pro-Visual Publishing in partnership with Leading Age Services Australia, Wounds Australia, Continence Foundation of Australia, Dementia Australia and the NSCA Foundation.
