Ageing in Australia has been edited by Kate O’Loughlin, an associate professor in the Ageing, Work and Health Research Unit at the University of Sydney, Colette Browning, director of the RDNS Institute, and Hal Kendig, Professor of Ageing and Public Policy at the Australian National University.
The book includes contributions from more than 18 Australian academics and researchers in the field.
The role of families, employers, service providers and government agencies in promoting or expanding choices for older people is also explored.
The book has been written for those studying ageing, healthcare professionals providing care to older people and policy analysts assessing areas for improvement.
