HIC 2013: Digital Health Service Delivery – the Future is Now!
HIC 2013 will be themed around digital health service delivery and the impact of e-health on patient journeys:
16th July – Designing, building and working within digital healthcare
17th July – Oncology patient journey, incorporating aged care informatics
18th July – Mental health patient journey, incorporating telehealth
On Monday 15th July HIC will host 4 satellite conferences: Nursing Informatics Australia, Indigenous Health Informatics, Personalised Medicine; and a professional development day for health informatics certification.
HIC is Australia's largest, longest running and most prestigious health informatics event. Conference convener, HISA, is dedicated to the advancement of health informatics nationally, and is Australia's official representative on the international stage at IMIA. HIC is THE conference to attend to learn about the absolute cutting edge in health information management, applications, research and technologies.
The program will include keynote speakers, panels, workshops, presentations from academia, presentations from industry, presentations from State, Jurisdictional and Federal government and presentations from consumers. Delegates will be directly participating in the content presented and discussions had through their integration in debates and workshops.
