Theme ‘Sharing the Experiences of Japan’, the 3rd Ageing Asia Innovation Forum in Japan will be inviting Japan’s leading aged care experts to provide an in-depth understanding of Japan’s advanced care models on the innovations in intergenerational, elderly day service, seniors housing, nursing care and rehabilitation care models. Delegates will get to exchange insights on some of Japan’s most effective methodologies in programmes for active, severe care, dementia care, palliative care and rehabilitation care.
According to the 3rd Asia Pacific Silver Economy Business Opportunities Report 2015, Japan has the highest life expectancy at birth of 84 years in the world and has a healthy life expectancy of 76 years leaving a gap of about 8 years, which some form of care is needed – either in the form of assisted living or nursing care.
This week-long event also includes site visits to some of the leading aged care facilities and product showcases in Japan where participants can gain first-hand experience and insights on Japan’s aged care opertational and service model.
