ACT-Conference-Splash-for-web
ACS NSW & ACT is hosting a two day conference in Canberra. The program will include a range of hot topics including finance, aged care reforms, a review of the issues around the Retirement Villages Act in the ACT and future directions.

Day One will be purely focused on Finance. As per the popular demand we will be running the Finance Forum as the first day of the program.

The aged care reforms require significant change to both business and financial strategies for aged and community care providers. This Forum is designed to address both the financial implications and an opportunity under the user pays principles underpinning the reforms. It is intended that most presentations will include practical information on how to implement the financial aspects of reforms to ensure quality service delivery, financial viability and sustainability. The Forum is designed for both residential and community aged care providers in the not-for-profit sector.

Topics will be of interest to Directors, CEOs, CFOs, finance managers, accountants, administration staff, directors of care and business development managers.

This day will explore the current and future direction of finance issues in the sector.

Day Two of the program will be Aged Care in Transition. This program will focus on policy, industry reaction and future directions in aged care. Whilst the depth of these changes and the associated results will be on-going the objective will be to unravel those that have been identified and look at strategies to implement these into the Aged Care Industry.

This component of the conference will attract CEO’s, management, financial and operational staff from retirement villages, residential care and community services.

There will be Networking Drinks at the end of Day 1 to relax with your colleagues and build new relationships.

We invite you to join us to explore this essential and rapidly changing aspect of our sector.
