This short online course will guide you through the AN-ACC funding model, the case mix classifications, and the AN-ACC assessments. You’ll gain an understanding of the complete AN-ACC process to help you advance in your role.
The role of an AN-ACC Coordinator is substantially different to that of an ACFI Coordinator. The AN-ACC model requires residential aged care providers to analyse data and make informed decisions on which resident to admit, when to ask for a reclassification (up or down) and how this will impact care minutes and the roster. This course will help you understand the differences and skills needed.
