We are looking for speakers to present at Better Practice 2017.
The theme for 2017 is “Re-thinking Aged Care – Discover, Connect, Create”
Next year’s conference program goes beyond discussing quality within the current aged care provision paradigm to a focus on shaping a new response to care for aged care consumers in Australia.
As part of this, we want to explore current concepts of ‘ageing’, who currently defines this and what does it mean to be an empowered consumer of aged care services? Most importantly, what implications does this hold for quality service delivery, grounded firmly in the individual needs and expectations of consumers?
We want to explore and share inspirational and innovative practice, in which aged care consumers are an integral part of ‘community’ and have an active role, alongside providers, in shaping and delivering support.
You don’t need to be a professional or seasoned speaker to be a part of Better Practice 2017. If you have a story to tell, we want to hear it. Better Practice conferences are a positive, enthusiastic and collaborative environment. You are among friends and colleagues who want to hear your experiences and make a difference.
