  1. These awareness courses are of special importance for all but especially for those of the LGBTI community . There is government support for those courses. Why do you have to charge for the courses ( I mean, the awareness course) especially taken via internet?

Carers are already paid peanuts and, any dollar counts. And of course Aged Care workers are already very aware of the “different” clientele.
I wanted to take that “coursillo”, but I am sorry, I can’t afford it. Or I believe I already know all about it. Including, but not limited to:
“What is the difference between sex characteristics, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation?”
I already take care of people of all designations and I am competent at it. Could I learn something? Maybe. Could I learn something that would have any impact in the quality of my service? I doubt. The $35.00 certainly would have a lot of impact in may pocket.

If you have a way to deliver it free for carers, please let me know.

    Kind Regards
