The partnership gives Ausmed customers access to the AnchorPolicy suite of policies and processes that can be tailored to aged care providers’ requirements.
The suite comprises policies, processes, tools, templates and manuals that guide and support best practices across all areas of aged care. These include:

- SIRS and restrictive practices
- Handover
- feedback management
- cultural safety.
The strategic partnership enables both organisations to widen and deepen services to customers, said Cynthia Payne, founder and managing director at Anchor Excellence.
“The coming together of Anchor and Ausmed is a real meeting of the minds. We are two leading organisations with a common focus – to improve the lived experience for older Australians in a care setting.”
“To do this, it’s fundamental to increase capability in the sector and the skills needed to deliver the required care and support,” she said in a statement.
Ausmed chief executive Will Egan said the partnersip brought together the best of software, education, policies and service to enable organisations to enhance the experience of aged care recipients.
“This partnership is another way we aim to support aged care providers in moving beyond tick-a-box compliance and towards continuous improvement,” Mr Egan said.
