BESTMED appoints new CEO
Electronic medication management provider BESTMED appoints Phil Offer as its new chief executive officer.
Electronic medication management provider BESTMED has appointed Phil Offer as its new chief executive officer.
Mr Offer takes up the position as former CEO Nass Hijazi – who has guided the company since 2015 – takes on the role of the tech company’s board director.
In a statement, Mr Hijazi said: “With the aged care sector facing more challenges than ever, we were looking to find a CEO who had the experience to continue to support our customers and steer BESTMED into the future.”
He added: “Phil has almost a decade of leadership experience in digital health and brings with him, not only an impressive resume, but a true customer focus.”
Mr Offer has previously held executive roles with MedicalDirector, The George Institute for Global Health and, most recently, My Emergency Doctor.
“I would like to thank Nass for all the work he has put into BESTMED – his dedication and passion for our customers can be directly evidenced,” said Mr Offer.
As for occupying the CEO role, Mr Offer said: “I’m excited by the opportunities to help our customers navigate the unprecedented changes occurring in the sector.”
