Chretien to replace Muggleton as CEO
After 14 years in the role, Bolton Clarke chief executive officer Stephen Muggleton will be succeeded by Olivier Chretien.

Bolton Clarke has announced the appointment of Olivier Chretien as the new group chief executive officer – commencing on 1 July.
Mr Chretien will replace Stephen Muggleton, who previously announced his plans to retire after 14 years in the role.
Mr Chretien said he was humbled and thrilled to join Bolton Clarke as it celebrates 140 years of caring for Australians.
“I have been inspired by the organisation’s purpose and commitment to positive ageing, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a sector which is so critical to our communities,” he said.
“I look forward to building on these strong foundations with our 16,000 team members, continuing to leverage technology, innovation and partnerships to grow the organisation sustainably, for the benefit of our customers, employees and communities.”

Chairman Tony Crawford said the appointment will ensure Bolton Clarke’s continued strong leadership during a time of transformation for the sector and thanked Mr Muggleton for his visionary leadership – acknowledging him as a driving force behind the 2015 merger that led to the formation of Bolton Clarke and its growth to become Australia’s largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider.

“Olivier is a well-respected CEO and executive who comes to Bolton Clarke with significant national and international leadership, strategy and operational experience in the hospital, care, retail and other services industries – most recently as CEO of InvoCare and previously at other blue chip organisations including Ramsay Health Care, Wesfarmers and Boston Consulting Group,” Mr Crawford said.
“His successful track record and leadership experience in large hospital and care organisations and complex environments such as ours, uniquely qualify him to take Bolton Clarke forward into this next stage. We are delighted to have Olivier as our new Group CEO.”
