Chris McGowan has been appointed CEO of Western Australian charitable aged and community care provider, Silver Chain.
Chris McGowan has been appointed CEO of Western Australian charitable aged and
community care provider, Silver Chain.
Mr McGowan has over 25 years experience in the health care industry, most recently holding the positions of executive director of population health and primary care for the Southern Adelaide Health Service and general manager of Noarlunga Health Services.
He has held senior executive roles in the South Australian Department of Health since 1997, where he was responsible for planning the future direction of health in
South Australia .
Mr McGowan has a Bachelor of Business, a Master’s Degree in Applied Science – Applied Social Research, and is currently doing research for a doctoral thesis on ‘Changing Trends in End of Life Care’, through
Flinders
University .
