ACC appoints new chief

Yvonne Webley

Education and training provider Aged Care Channel has announced Yvonne Webley as new CEO.

Ms Webley has qualifications in health management, marketing, finance and public relations and more than 20 years’ experience across the health and aged care sectors.

Her previous roles include leading the sales and marketing team of large aged care provider Blue Care and more recently as director of Sodexo Australia’s seniors and healthcare division.

ACC Chairman Pat McIntosh said he was delighted to welcome such an experienced industry professional to continue to grow the business.

“Yvonne brings great energy and an engaging leadership style that will ensure we realise the huge potential of the ACC,” he said.

Ms Webley said she looked forward to adding value with content that would form a foundation for career paths in the health and aged care sectors.

“The opportunities are significant to expand ACC’s services to support more providers, realign our model to incorporate new markets and find innovative ways to add value for our current and future member base,” Ms Webley said.

“I look forward to growing our role as leaders in delivering engaging and inspiring workforce education and training that promotes service development, improved standards and excellent client care.”

Ms Webley takes over from David Clarke, who stepped into the role in March following the departure of Russell Bricknell when he was appointed CEO of Baptistcare in Western Australia.

Mr Clarke returns to his former role of general manager of ACC Productions.
