SCC WA appoints acting head after CEO departs
Jane O’Halloran has been appointed Acting CEO whilst the Board undertakes a
recruitment process for the role of CEO.
Aged care provider Southern Cross Care WA has appointed chief operating officer Jane O’Halloran as acting chief executive officer while it searches for a new head.
She replaces Errol Turner, who stepped down as the provider’s CEO in December following more than seven years at the helm, SCC WA announced on 4 February.
Ms O’Halloran has been with SCC WA for over seven years including as general manager of strategy before becoming COO.
She has also held executive roles in the private sector, where she was responsible for all aspects of strategy, operations, marketing, human resources, and risk.
SCC WA chair Brad Prentice said Ms O’Halloran has worked closely with the board to deliver strategic and operational plans.
Mr Prentice thanked Mr Turner for his commitment and service.
“He leaves a proud legacy, and we are grateful for his dedication to drive innovation so our organisation may continue its solid path of growth,” he said.
The board has commenced the search for a new CEO.
