Shepparton Villages appoints CEO
Victorian residential care and retirement living provider Shepparton Retirement Villages has announced aged care executive Veronica Jamison as incoming chief executive officer.

Victorian residential care and retirement living provider Shepparton Retirement Villages has announced aged care executive Veronica Jamison as incoming chief executive officer.
Ms Jamison, who is general manager of community health and care at fellow Victorian aged care provider Benetas, joined Shepparton Villages as a board member in October 2018.
She is an experienced health sector CEO, previously leading Bass Coast Health, Dianella Community Health and Boort District Health.

Ms Jamison was also previously the state manager, Victoria and Tasmania and general manager of national member support at provider peak Leading Age Services Australia.
She holds masters degrees in human resources management and business, a postgraduate qualification in business and a degree psychology and philosophy.
Shepparton Villages chair Frank Dawson said the board was pleased to appoint Ms Jamison CEO.
“Veronica has made a significant contribution to Shepparton Villages already as a board member and while we will lose her on the board we are gaining someone with excellent aged care experience to lead the organisation,” Mr Dawson said.
Ms Jamison begins as CEO of Shepparton Villages on 17 August.

Former CEO Kerri Rivett, who spent eight years at the helm, stepped down from the role on 8 May to take up the CEO role at fellow aged care provider Royal Freemasons in Melbourne.
At Shepparton Villages, she oversaw a number of projects including the development of a $34 million, 120-bed residential aged care facility in Tarcoola.
Mr Dawson thanked Ms Rivett for her dedication to the organisation when her resignation was announced in April.
“In her eight years as CEO Kerri has grown the organisation incredibly and set us on a very good path with her initiatives and drive. It is a credit to Kerri that under her leadership, Shepparton Villages has grown to be a strong and significant aged care provider in regional Australia,” Mr Dawson said in a statement at the time.
