New Arcare residence opens its doors

For-profit aged care provider Arcare will open a new facility on Thursday 30 March.

For-profit aged care provider Arcare will open a new facility on Thursday 30 March.

Located in the Sydney suburb of Belmont, the site features 80 suites within two communities tailored to care needs.

“We are excited to extend Arcare’s services in the Belmont community,” said Arcare CEO Colin Singh in a statement. “This opportunity allows us to not only provide a quality living environment for the aged, but also increased job opportunities and support to the local community.”

Residents’ rooms have ensuites and access to courtyards or verandas. Communal amenities include a boutique café, hair salon, dining room, piano room and theatre.

The Arcare Belmont facility also features several eco-elements including 100 kilowatt solar panels, water-saving fixtures, and insulation to assist with natural cooling and heating.

“I am thrilled to bring Arcare Aged Care’s great reputation to this community,” said residence manager Brooke Sherwood. “I am looking forward to creating new connections with local healthcare providers, as well as welcoming new residents and their loved ones into our community.”
