HSPC Architects appoints head of seniors living
Health architecture firm HSPC Architects has appointed former Japara Healthcare leader Sam Snaddon as head of strategy and commercial – seniors living.

Reinforcing its commitment to innovative and commercially viable aged care design, Melbourne-based HSPC Architects has appointed Sam Snaddon as head of strategy and commercial – seniors living.
Mr Snaddon brings more than 17 years of experience in aged care development, healthcare real estate and corporate strategy to the role.
He previously held leadership roles at Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT and Japara Healthcare – now Calvary Healthcare – where he led the development of more than 900 aged care beds across greenfield, brownfield and refurbishment projects.
“I have worked alongside HSPC Architects for over a decade as a client, and I’ve always admired their approach to seniors living design and their relationship with the client ,” said Mr Snaddon.
“Joining the team allows me to bridge commercial strategy with architecture, helping clients navigate sector reforms while ensuring we create built environments that are sustainable, functional, and truly feel like home for residents.”
Mr Snaddon’s appointment is indicative of HSPC’s move towards providing end-to-end solutions for aged care operators and developers.
