The ITAC 09 organising committee is seeking presentation ideas for this year’s IT in aged care event.
The organising committee for the ITAC [Information Technology in Aged Care] 09 conference has formally issued a call for papers.
The theme for the third annual ITAC event is ‘Sustaining quality through eCare’ in recognition of the increasing importance of information technology in aged care.
The conference will run between 21 and 22 May at the Hilton Sydney.
Speakers from Australia and overseas are encouraged to develop practical presentations on the topics of management, assistive technology and remote delivery.
The conference’s key information streams include: total cost of ownership; medication management; document management; open source computing; cloud computing; designing community care systems; community health records; and assistive technologies.
The deadline for presentation submissions is 16 February and successful applicants will be notified by 2 March.
