The Federal Minister for Aged Care Ken Wyatt will this morning hold a press event at an aged care facility in Nunawading, Victoria which has been allocated 38 new places to establish a new dementia specific unit.

The government says the 10,000 places represent additional funding of $649 million per year.

The full breakdown of this year’s ACAR will be provided on the Department of Health’s website at 11.30am AEST.
