A workshop in Melbourne will look at recent changes to the Australian Standards Guidelines for electric beds.
A workshop will be held in Melbourne at the end of the month to help health professionals understand the Australian Standards Guidelines for electric beds.
Organised by furniture and equipment supplier, Ian Ashley & Associates, the forum will look at compliance issues and recent changes to the standards.
Mechanical engineer, John Walmsley will be on hand to explain the issues that are encountered in the manufacturing of an electronic bed.
Mr Walmsley will also provide insight on the Therapeutic Goods Administration’s ‘Essential Principles’.
The forum will be held between 1pm and 3pm on Friday, 28 November at the Healthcare Lifting/Service Assistance Office at 3-4 Argent Place, Ringwood.
