Epicor ready for online ACFI claiming

Epicor is the first aged care software vendor to gain certification for the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) online claiming.

Twilight Aged Care will be the first customer to go live with online claiming when the new funding tool begins operating on 20 March.

Epicor’s latest Senior Living Solution software incorporates residential and community aged care as well as retirement living.

As well as recording ACFI appraisals, the software solution encompasses funding calculations, reconciliation and updating to the General Ledger for financial reporting.

It also includes the changes brought about by the enactment of the Securing the Future for Aged Care (now known as the 2007 Budget changes) package.

The first version of Epicor’s ACFI appraisal capture and subsidy calculation module was released in December 2007 when it was beta tested by Amity Group, Masonic Homes Inc and Twilight Aged Care.

Epicor will be running ACFI classroom training courses for its customers at the end of February.
