Evidence at the point of care

An Australian health software producer has signed an agreement with the Joanna Briggs Institute to integrate the latest evidence into its CMS.

Software producer HealthSolve, has signed an agreement with the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) to integrate the latest research-based evidence into its care management products.

The new initiative will see high quality information made available to nurses and other care staff at the point of care.

HealthSolve currently produces specialist solutions for aged and community care in Australia and overseas.

“I think JBI have a really good strong history and credibility within the industry,” HealthSolve’s Managing Director, Nick Cuthbertson told Australian Ageing Agenda.

“We are always looking at our product to improve it and I think it’s a natural progression for us now to be able to provide this best practice content.”

JBI is a not-for-profit international collaboration that seeks to improve health practice outcomes across a range of disciplines by promoting and supporting evidence based clinical decisions.

A JBI spokesperson said the collaboration is delighted about the agreement.

“We understand the high-pressure, demanding environment in which health professionals work and hope that this new initiative will contribute to informing their clinical decision making and improving health outcomes,” she said.
