Luson 95-bed residential aged care home in Clyde North, Victoria is oficially open.

Victorian aged care provider Luson’s 95-bed residential aged care home in Clyde North, Victoria is now open.

Luson Bloom, is a boutique aged care home that includes a library, inhouse hair salon, gold class cinema, gym, outdoor entertainment areas, manicured gardens and interactive raised veggie pods.

The spaces have been designed to facilitate social engagement and interaction, while also offering opportunities for individual privacy or time with family.

The home incorporates a community feel, similar to a small shopping strip, whilst also using feature joinery screens throughout to provide pockets of private and peaceful settings.

Luson Bloom’s environment fosters a sense of community

Luson Bloom general manager Chipo Nyemba said the home’s environment fosters a sense of community, while supporting independent living with professional care.

“Bloom represents the growing desire for more integrated and better designed aged care homes that support the full spectrum of personal, social and practical needs of our residents and their families,” Nyemba said.

“The vision for Bloom is apparent in its culture that prioritises the needs of residents, their families, and the team to provide the highest standards and care for the greatest quality of life.”
