Silver Chain has developed a user’s manual for its Home Independence Program (HIP) that was featured in the last issue of NHJ. The Home Independence User Manual is designed to assist other home care agencies adopt the program.
Silver Chain has developed a user’s manual for its Home Independence Program (HIP) that was featured in the last issue of NHJ. The Home Independence User Manual is designed to assist other home care agencies adopt the program.
It includes information on why the program was developed, the theory and key principles on which it is based, and how it works on a day to day basis. The manual also contains case histories, evidence for the program’s effectiveness and comprehensive appendices which contain examples of key forms and processes used within the program.
