A News Limited article at the weekend reported that the not-for-profit organisation had approached Mr Iemma following his resignation from politics two weeks ago.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the board position carried a $39,000 annual salary and included an advisory role.
But a spokesperson for the organisation said Mr Iemma would not be joining the board.
