Board refresh for COTA Vic
Advocacy body Council on the Ageing Victoria has announced three new board of directors.

Advocacy body Council on the Ageing Victoria has announced three new board of directors – Hayley Hunter, Tanya O’Connor and Mark Stokes.

Hayley Hunter has more than 10 years of specialist legal expertise in guardianship, wills and elder abuse. She also serves as a member of the Senior Rights Victoria advisory committee.

Tanya O’Connor has an executive background in technology development and clinical research. She also serves on boards with a focus on aged care and dementia.

Mark Stokes has worked as a researcher, academic and advocate in the fields of public health, psychology, and biomedicine. He also joins COTA Victoria with strong ties to numerous not-for-profit organisations.
“We’re thrilled to welcome such high-calibre and experienced professionals to our board of directors,” said COTA Victoria president Robert Caulfield. “We’re excited about what lies ahead for COTA Victoria with a full contingent of board members, a new strategic plan, and reinvigorated vision.”

With COTA Victoria undergoing sweeping organisational change, CEO Chris Potaris said the new board members have arrived at a perfect time.
“With these positions now filled, we can focus on COTA Victoria’s transformation into a resilient organisation that shows demonstrable value for those we represent.”
