AUDIO: With the new funding arrangements coming into effect in less than two weeks, aged care organisations need to understand the range of impacts the reforms could have on their bottom line.

That’s according to Richard Grayson, director at ANZ Healthcare, who told providers at the Leading Age Services WA conference in Fremantle this week that banks would be modelling the likely impacts and the potential downsides of the reforms. Therefore providers should undertake thorough assessments of the impacts of the changes on their operations before they approached lenders.

After his presentation Mr Grayson spoke to AAA’s Darragh O’Keeffe about how organisations can prepare. He began by discussing which providers will be the likely ‘winners and losers’. Listen here:
