Tunstall changes its name
The multinational assistive technology providers wants to emphasise a change in its strategic direction.
Tunstall, one of the world’s largest providers of assistive technology products has added a new word to its name: Healthcare.
The shift to Tunstall Healthcare is part of a broader strategy from the multinational company to position itself as a provider of “complete telehealthcare” solutions.
Supporting more than 2.5 million people in over 30 countries, Tunstall Healthcare will be pushing the case for assistive technology to governments in coming years as the global population ages.
The group has been operating in Australia since 1992 and it opened a Brisbane-based national emergency response centre in May 2001.
