Where to next with aged care informatics?
A symposium in Canberra next month will focus on developing a vision for aged care informatics.
The Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) will be holding a symposium on aged care informatics in Canberra next month.
The event’s theme is ‘Developing and realising a vision for aged care informatics for Australia and the region’.
It will cover a range of areas including the implementation of health information systems, older people and social networks and exercising the ageing body and mind.
Among the speakers addressing the symposium are Dr Lakshmi Narasimhan from East Carolina University and Dr George Margelis from Intel Australia’s Digital Health Group.
The event will be held from 9am-5pm on Wednesday, 19 August.
