Aged care leaders must be ‘fearless’

Corinne 2AUDIO: Corinne Armour, director of Extraordinary Future, challenged delegates at the Tri-State conference on Tuesday to consider ways they could implement “change that sticks”.

She said that 70 per cent of organisational change initiatives failed, and aged care managers and leaders needed “fearless leadership” in order to implement and sustain change in their organisations.

This kind of leadership was necessary for organisations to meet the challenges presented by the current reforms.

After her presentation she spoke with AAA’s Darragh O’Keeffe about “fearless leadership”, and the challenges facing aged care leaders:
