ACSA appoints new board members
Aged and Community Services Australia has appointed Mercy Health group CEO Stephen Cornelissen as chairperson.
Aged care industry peak body Aged and Community Services Australia has announced Mercy Health group CEO Stephen Cornelissen as chairperson, among other board appointments.
Mr Cornelissen is an experienced health and aged care executive who has worked in a range of roles in hospitals, community organisations and central bureaucracy in both metropolitan and rural settings in Australia and New Zealand.
He replaces ACSA chair Sara Blunt, who is CEO of aged care provider Kalyra Communities.
ACSA also appointed Footprints Queensland CEO Cherylee Treloar as vice chairperson.
Ms Treloar is an experienced board member who has also contributed to government consultations including aged care reforms and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
ACSA has also appointed Warrigal CEO Mark Sewell, Masonic Care Tasmania CEO Jackie Howard, Clayton Church Homes chief executive Daniel Aitchison and Alinea Incorporated executive director Shane Yensch directors.
