Catholic Healthcare appoints interim CEO
Catholic Healthcare has appointed Belinda Moyes as interim CEO following the departure of long-standing managing director David Maher.

New South Wales aged care provider Catholic Healthcare has appointed former Victorian chief nursing advisor Belinda Moyes as interim CEO.
The appointment follows the resignation of Catholic Healthcare’s long-standing managing director David Maher, who left at the end of May after 10 years in the role and 20 with the organisation.
Ms Moyes joins the organisation with 30 years of experience in senior strategic leadership and board roles including in the health sector.
She spent 10 years as Victoria’s chief nursing advisor and was the CEO at three hospital networks.
Ms Moyes holds clinical qualifications including a Bachelor of Health Administration and a Masters in Health Planning.
Ms Moyes said she was honoured to join the organisation.
“I am passionate about supporting Catholic Healthcare’s mission and values and I look forward to working with our passionate team. My focus will be on people – our Catholic Healthcare team and the people we serve and care for every day,” Ms Moyes said.
“Together with the leadership team and board, we will be reviewing what is working well and where we can improve and work differently to position Catholic Healthcare to embrace opportunities and adjust our service delivery in response to community needs,” she said.
