Doutta Galla welcomes CEO
Glenn Rappensberg joins the not-for-profit, Victoria-based provider.
Doutta Galla Aged Care Services has appointed Glenn Rappensberg as its new chief executive officer.
The residential aged care, home care, disability and retirement living provider – which provides services across Melbourne and regional Victoria – said it was delighted that Mr Rappensberg had joined the Doutta Galla team.
Mr Rappensberg brings to Doutta Galla a wealth of experience – both clinical and administrative – from across the human services sector. His expertise spans health, disability, and community service – including local government.
“I’m honoured and thrilled to join Doutta Galla,” said Mr Rappensberg. “This organisation has a rich history of providing exceptional care to all, regardless of background, and I’m committed to building upon that legacy.”
Acknowledging the outstanding leadership of Vanda Laconese – who had held the CEO role at the not-for-profit provider for more than a decade – Mr Rappensberg said he was committed to facing the challenges and opportunities ahead, including the implementation of the new Aged Care Act and the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
“Together, with my depth of expertise, and the combined expertise of the Doutta Galla team, we will navigate these challenges, uphold our values, and continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.”
Mr Rappensberg (pictured top) commenced the CEO role on 8 January.
