Executive movements at Cranbrook Care

Kerry Mann is once again CEO of the NSW provider Cranbrook Care while former CEO Lee Carissa heads to a lead role at Uniting.

Kerry Mann has returned to the chief executive officer role at New South Wales aged care provider Cranbrook Care following the departure of Lee Carissa earlier this month.

Ms Mann, who has been appointed acting CEO, is also executive director and chair of Cranbrook Care’s governing bodies. She has held those roles since February 2022 and was CEO of the organisation for 10 years before that.

Ms Mann has over 30 years’ experience in the health industry, holds a master’s in business administration and is chair of NSW & ACT state member advisory council with provider peak body Aged & Community Care Providers Association.

Ms Carissa – a registered nurse – joined Cranbrook Care seven years ago as chief operating officer and added chief executive officer to her responsibilities in February 2022.

She is moving to NSW & ACT aged care and retirement living provider Uniting, she announced on LinkedIn.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Sydney north operations support lead at Uniting,” she wrote.

Commencing operations in 2000, Cranbrook Care’s aged care portfolio includes facilities across NSW including Neutral Bay, the Hills Shire, the Central Coast and Sydney’s inner-west.

Cranbrook Care is not currently recruiting to replace her, and Ms Mann will be the CEO until further notice, a spokesperson for the organisation told Australian Ageing Agenda.
