Lawrence to leave Brightwater Care Group
Brightwater Care Group CEO Jennifer Lawrence will step down next April after almost two decades with the organisation.

West Australian aged care and disability provider Brightwater Care Group has announced Jennifer Lawrence has resigned and will leave the organisation next April after five years at the helm.
Ms Lawrence joined Brightwater Care Group 18 years ago as director of care services. She held a number of roles before becoming chief executive officer five years ago.
Brightwater Care Group chairman David Craig said the board was proud of Ms Lawrence’s achievements such as overseeing significant growth in the residential aged care business and leading the ongoing development of the Inglewood residential aged care home and new head office.
She also established the Brightwater Research Centre and a transitional accommodation program for young people.
“Jennifer has played a critical role in the development, growth and success of the organisation and I believe Brightwater is well positioned for a successful future,” Mr Craig said in a statement sent to stakeholders.
“The past two years have been especially challenging and Jennifer has displayed courage, resilience and good humour. She has successfully navigated the organisation through change, quickly adapting, whilst never losing sight of Brightwater’s mission,” he said.
Ms Lawrence will remain at Brightwater until April 2022.
After that she intends to focus on mentoring and advisory positions, hiking and spending time with her family, Mr Craig said.
