MOA Benchmarking & Health Generation partner
The two vendors have teamed up to support aged care providers with timely and accurate data submissions for the national quality indicator program.

Compliance and quality-focused organisations MOA Benchmarking and Health Generation have announced a partnership to offer aged care providers additional support in preparing and submitting data to the national quality indicator program.
The deal comes amid the expansion of the quality indicator program and may be of interest to providers with new managers, staff on leave, or teams facing resourcing challenges, say the partners.
Health Generation’s role is to assist with data preparation and entry, while MOA Benchmarking continues to manage the final submission process.
Over 1,200 aged care homes use MOA Benchmarking’s platform to submit their National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program data through Government Provider Management System while Health Generation’s QI Companion Service helps providers collate and input quality indicator data into the MOA platform.
The service is designed to integrate with providers’ existing processes, said Qing Ling, Health Generation’s service manager of the quality indicator companion team.
“Our team can … help aged care homes ensure their data is accurate and complete while meeting [program] requirements,” she said.
The QI Companion Service offers different levels of support according to need and includes remote data collection across all 14 quality indicators, targeted assistance with non-medication indicators, and coaching sessions for internal teams.

Health Generation director of clinical and consulting services Joanne Speck said the service aimed to help ease administrative burdens.
“Aged care providers must balance multiple demands, including compliance and reporting [and this] is one option for providers looking to streamline their data submission process.”
MOA Benchmarking chief operating officer David Sanders said the partnership aimed to offer flexible options for providers, who operate in a challenging environment where data submission can add to their workload.
“This partnership means that those seeking additional support have an option to access assistance while keeping their data within the MOA platform, ensuring consistency in reporting and submission.”
