JANUARY
# Applications are now open to join the Investigator Team for the National Health and Medical Research Council’s first Partnership Centre, ‘Dealing with Cognitive and Related Functional Decline in the Elderly’. The NHMRC and funding partners invite cross-jurisdictional, multidisciplinary groupings of investigators to apply to join the team which compiles and performs the five-year work plan for this Partnership Centre. # Spaces are now open for the Technology and Ageing study tour to the USA, April 15-21, 2012. Hosted by the Center for Ageing Services Technologies (CAST) and the International Association of Homes for the Ageing (IAHSA).
CAST Vice President Majd Alwan will lead the technology study tour that will spotlight the work of 5 CAST sponsors and 3 CAST members in New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
