ACSA annual awards

ACSA presents Annual Awards for Excellence at National Conference in Melbourne.

Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA) presented its Annual Awards for Excellence at its National Conference in Melbourne.

The awards aim to promote and recognise excellence in a range of areas that contribute to the quality of life of older people, people with disabilities and their carers. 

They also acknowledge significant efforts to increase public confidence and community involvement in aged and community services.

The 2007 winners are listed below.

Volunteer: Don & Rona McKenzie, Victoria

Organisation – Residential Care: The Marion, Uniting Care Ageing – Sydney Region, NSW

Organisation – Community Care: CHIPS Community Help for the Isolated, South Australia

Organisation – Retirement Living: Crowley, New South Wales

Technology Innovation: SwanCare Group, Western Australia

Training Innovation: Carrington Centennial Care, New South Wales

Newsletter – Professional: Newslink Life Care, Churches of Christ, South Australia

Newsletter – Voluntary: The Pipeline, Peninsula Village, New South Wales

Graham Shotter (CEO Royal Freemasons Homes of Victoria) presentig Bryan Lipmann AM (CEO, Wintringham, Victoria) with the Individual Award for Excellence.
