Chance to have excellence recognised
Entries for the CS&H ISC’s inaugural Accolades for Excellence are open until the end of July.
Entries have opened for the Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council’s (CS&H ISC) inaugural National Accolades for Excellence.
The accolades for Excellence acknowledge the outstanding achievement by organisations in the community services and health industries.
“Building an effective workforce and realising its potential through training is vital to the success of modern enterprises and the success of these organisations depends on many factors, particularly the quality and consistency of the contribution made by its workforce,” said the CEO of the CS&HISC, Di Lawson.
“The CS&H ISC’s vision is to promote a competent workforce able to meet the community services and health needs of Australia’s population.
“The accolades will shine a spotlight on those organisations and individuals who are excelling at identifying, meeting and surpassing these needs, via innovative, creative, and determined workforce development strategies.”
The accolades fall into four main categories: workforce development; growing partnerships, excellence in rural and remote areas; and policy innovation.
Applications for the accolades will close at 5pm AEST on Friday, 31 July.
Finalists will be announced on 2 September and the National Accolades awards ceremony will be held on 21 October at the annual CS&H ISC ‘Making a Difference’ convention.
