HESTA also picked up  an Employer of Choice award for its commitment to employee welfare, development and education.

The annual awards, which were announced on 7 October, recognise organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, employee engagement, customer satisfaction experience management, business sustainability, product and technology innovation.

“The TLC Coronavirus Taskforce has successfully steered TLC through the pandemic with clearly defined goals, objectives, and strategies,” he said.

All 11 TLC homes have remained free of COVID-19 despite three-quarters of the homes being in Victoria’s COVID-19 hotspots, Mr Pascuzzi said.

“This 2021 Australian Business Award for Business Excellence is for every member of Team TLC who has worked tirelessly to protect our community. I am proud to lead a team of such exceptional people,” he said.
