BlueCross SapphireCare appoints interim CEO

Robert Putamorsi

Victorian-based residential and community care service provider BlueCross SapphireCare has announced Robert Putamorsi as its interim CEO.

Mr Putamorsi has been a member of the leadership team as executive general manager of business development, property and infrastructure at BlueCross SapphireCare since 2017.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the retirement living and aged care sector, holding senior leadership roles in finance, operations, commercial and business development.

He was previously general manager of retirement communities at residential care provider Australian Unity.

Mr Putamorsi holds a Bachelor of Business in accounting and is both a certified practising accountant and licensed real estate agent.

Mr Putamorsi took over as CEO on 6 August from Adjunct Professor Alan Lilly who resigned recently after commencing as CEO in September 2016.

Lifeview appoints hospitality services manager

Tibor Paller

Elsewhere in Victoria, aged care provider Lifeview Residential Care has announced the appointment of Tibor Paller as its new hospitality services manager.

Mr Paller has experience as a professional chef, mentor and blogger with an extensive background working in management and consulting roles both nationally and internationally.

Through his Facebook page Tibor’s Kitchen, he has become well-known for his texture-modified meals for the aged care and health industries.

Lifeview CEO Madeline Gall said Mr Paller would be a great asset to the organisation.

“Tibor’s innovation with food, in particular texture modified meals is amazing and it is extremely important to us and for those living in aged care to have a variety of great food that is delicious, nutritious and visually appealing,” Ms Gall said.
